Dr. Jessica Ligon, Owner and Veterinarian In Charge
Dr. Ligon was raised in Nelson County where she currently resides on her family cattle farm. She attended Virginia Tech where she obtained her undergraduate degree and her DVM. After college she returned home to Nelson and took over operation of her fathers practice, Lovingston Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Ligon continues to see patients by appointment only at both locations as well as seeing large animal clients on farm calls.
Dr. Krisha Golla, Associate Veterinarian
A Botetourt county native, Dr. Golla grew up on an Angus cattle farm and was active in FFA and 4H showing cattle, sheep, and swine. She graduated from Lord Botetourt High School and attended Virginia Tech where she obtained a bachelors degree in Animal and Poultry Sciences. Dr. Golla, then attended the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine, where she met and became friends with Dr. Ligon. Their friendship and their mutual passion for animal medicine continue to this day.
Dr. Dianne Laurie, Associate veterinarian
Dr. Laurie attended Virginia Tech for her undergraduate degree as well as her DVM. She has been practicing medicine in our sister location, Lovingston Veterinary Hopsital, for several years. She is certified in animal acupuncture and herbal medicine.
